Cap body in black wool with two ventilation grommets at each side, black wool cap band, white wool piping, two-piece black leather chinstrap with black metal buckle at centre, attached by two black painted smooth buttons. Silver finished 1936 style metal eagle and skull, black lacquered visor with orange-brown checkered underside. Orange-brown oil cloth lining, impressed gold foil runes and "Stirndruckfrei Deutsches Reichspatent" underneath intact moisture shield. Brown leather sweatband, black velvet comfort strip around circumference, white oil cloth NSDAP RZM tag with brown print underneath. Küpper Wuppertal manufacture, ca. 1934. Size ca. 52 cm.
