A WALKING STICK WITH 1795 PAIR CASED FUSEE WATCH
The malacca-type shaft with hole for leather thong is finished in a large primitive copper ferrule tip on one end, and set with a sterling silver case on the other having stamped hallmarks of London, 1795. The hinged bezel with glass lens opens to a second sterling silver case housing the fusee chain driven timepiece with ornate engraved and gilded movement signed A. Duncan, London fronted by a porcelain enamel dial having hand painted Roman numeral chapter ring and hands the color of rose gold.

Condition Report: Very good cosmetic condition with minor wear and discoloration to the shaft, the porcelain enamel dial has a short scratch at the 6 position extreme edge, no other chips, cracks or repairs, no major dents, the watch movement is in good intact running condition at the time of inspection, noting that the verge/wheel runs turns for about five seconds before quitting. We cannot guarantee the running or timekeeping condition of timepieces once removed from the auction premises.
