A WALNUT SIDE TABLE, POSSIBLY IRISHCIRCA 1750 AND LATER80.5cm high, 118cm wide, 59cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Various old splits and chips. The top is associated to the base of the table. There are later batons of timber applied to the underside of the top. Joints later re-glued. Timber has been cleaned and has a pale colour. Evidence of old worm to the underside of the table and in some areas the front of the frieze. One 'ear' lacking to each rear leg. Some later tacks securing the 'ears' of other legs. Later supporting corner blocks to the rear of the frieze. Vacant screw hole to the front edge of the top.
