A WATERED-STEEL DAGGER (KARD) WITH LAPIS-LAZULI HILT, PERSIA, SAFAVID, 18TH CENTURY

the tapered finely watered-steel blade with flat edge, gilt foliate motifs around the forte and on mount holding two pieces of lapis-lazuli for the hilt

Condition Report:
The blade with very minor patches of oxidisation, cutting-edge with minor chip, the mounts on hilt with minor remnants of adhesive to edges, otherwise in good condition, very minor rubbing to gilding, as viewed.
