A WEBSTER WILCOX SILVERPLATE LIDDED CHAFFING DISH ON STAND WITH TRAY, MARKED, AMERICAN, 20TH CENTURY, in a Rococo Revival style and with a domed lid centering fruiting "C" scrolled cartouches encircling a fruit filled bowl form finial, on a conforming dish with broad flat rim trimmed in similar applied details and joined by a turned hardwood handle, verso stamped "Webster Wilcox / I S / INTERNATIONAL SILVER CO / 275," raised on a pierced stand cast with a riot of "C" scrolls and leafy sinuous vines dripping in fruit clusters continuing to trefid form feet, enclosing a removable heating oil canister, height: 14", width: 25 1/2", depth: 15 1/2"; on a matching circular tray, verso same stamp with number "274," diameter: 23 3/4". (3) Provenance: Lifelong Collection of Clocks and Antiques, Navasota, Texas.
