A WILLIAM IV MAHOGANY SARCOPHAGUS CELLARET CIRCA 1835 The hinged lid enclosing a divided interior 57cm high, 75cm wide, 54cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches abrasions consistent with age and useOld chips and losses, various signs of repair and replacement to some veneers, scratches and wearOne foot is loose and detached from the underside - this sits in a round socket to the underside, there are signs of previous glue here, also would benefit from some reinforcing and additional timber to secure as the hole appears worn and larger than the supporting timber of the foot - re-gluing is probably in sufficient at this stageThe interior divided and lined, with dirt and discolouration as to be expected with age and intended use, also splitting and loss to the lining material Please see additional images for visual reference to condition Condition Report Disclaimer
