A WILLIAM IV MAHOGANY STAND IN THE FORM OF AN IONIC COLUMN CIRCA 1835 With hinged top and door, previously fitted as a washstand 85cm high, 59cm wide, 50cm deepProvenance: Anonymous Sale, Christie's, London, 9 December 2003, lot 58 'An Adventurous Spirit: An Important Private Collection', Christie's London, where purchased by Count Manfredi della Gherardesca, 13 December 2018, Lot 227 Condition Report: Generally good, structurally secure with wear and tear consistent with age and use. Minor constructional shrinkage cracks and some shrinkage splits to the veneers on top, some scuffing to the leading edge of the top, some veneers splitting to the back. Minor scuffing and wear to the plinth. Otherwise in good order and of consistent colour. The top slightly warped and opening to reveal a green baize-lined well, the underside of the top previously fitted with a mirror now absent. Condition Report Disclaimer
