A WWI pair to '267046 Private James Rendell OXF & BUCKS L.I' War Medal and Victory Medal, together with associated items from James and his family. Including cap badges and buttons, WWII service medals, James' blind dominoes, his St Dunstan's badge, a copy of ''Victory over Blindness'' by Sir Arthur Pearson, and two related photograph albums. There is also a collection of his coins, including silver, and other family related medals, photographs, paperwork, and stamp album. *Notes- James Rendell was formerly Lord Amory of Tiverton's gamekeeper but was tragically blinded during the war by mustard gas. He subsequently joined St Dunstan's charity for blind veterans, where he was taught how to make shoes, a skill he continued to practice throughout his later life.
