tapering and chased with alternating panels of flowers and foliage, one side engraved with a crest, with ivory-insulated leaf-capped handle, the hinged cover with flower and foliage finial; Together With a similar cream-jug and sugar-bowl, the cream-jug by Edward, Edward, John and William Barnard, London, 1834, the sugar-bowl by Joseph and John Angell, London, 1836 the teapot 30cm wide over handle, total gross weight 54oz 6dwt, 1,689gr (3) With non-transferable standard ivory exemption declaration number T1JS6K7M.

The teapot fully marked underneath and further part marked inside cover and on finial. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some bruises overall, noticeable to the foot which cause the teapot to rock slightly when placed on a level surface. There are some cracks and stains to the ivory insulators, though no indication they have been added or restored. The cream-jug and sugar-bowl each fully marked underneath. Each with surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. We cannot guarantee a reply to any requests made within 48 hours of the start of the auction. The absence of a Condition Report from a lot does not mean that the lot is in perfect condition.
