A William IV sterling silver gilt vinaigrette, Birmingham 1830 by Ledsam, Vale and Wheeler of rectangular form with waited sides, cavetto edges and chased foliate rims, the hinged with a cut and applied sheet of foliate scroll heightened with engraved decoration, with a vacant rectangular cartouche. The interior with a hinged grill with pierced and engraved decoration of foliate scrolls and rosettes. Fully marked, the grill with maker’s mark only.
