Caliber .30-30Win, No. 77L919, mirror-polished barrel, length 20". The gold-plated receiver is decorated with etched scenes of wild animals and arabesques. The barrel, magazine tube, bolt, and butt plate are blued. The left side of the barrel bears the standard Winchester mark, while the right side features the gold lettering “Limited Edition by Winchester.” The stock is made of beautifully grained, lacquered walnut with a fine fish-scale checkering on the butt plate and forend. This exquisite firearm is presented in a walnut case lined with red velvet, featuring a leather-embossed Winchester logo on the lid. Included in the compartment are a Winchester brochure and a cleaning cloth. Rifle length: 97 cm; case dimensions: 160 cm x 26 cm x 8 cm. Limited Edition I was likely produced to celebrate the Model 1894 reaching the 5,000,000 sales milestone. A total of only 1,500 units were manufactured in 1977. Serial number range: 77L1 to 77L1500. There was also a Limited Edition II, which was released two years later, in 1979.
