A YATAGAN
Slightly curved, single-edged blade, remains of silver-inlaid inscription on the left side, surmounted by another marking (Arabic numbers? 1218 - 1803 C.G.), a silver-inlaid cartouche on the right side, probably with inscriptions and date "1878", Grip with brass mounts, walrus ivory grip scales with small ears. Wooden scabbard (with leather-covering, probably later one), silver-colored, metal chape and cap, portraying persons on one side and floral decorations on the other.
