A YIXING STONEWARE 'PEACH AND BAMBOO' TEAPOT AND COVER
Attributed to Shao Youlan (active 1796–1850), Jiaqing to Daoguang period
Of cylindrical form, with a flat top, short straight spout and 'ear' shaped handle, decorated in white slip to the body with fruiting peach branches above wild grasses, the reverse with bamboo sprigs, the cover with further slip decoration, the loop handle with two twisted loose rings, seal mark to the base Youlanmi zhi (specially made by Youlan).
