A big Chinese polychrome Swatow shallow bowl with Qilin and fish, Ming dynasty (1368-1644) period, 16th century. Center painted with Qilin sitting next to the rock, amidst different plants and clouds, scene surrounded by red circles. Border ith three blue fish and red and green plants, narrow band with gemetrical motives on the blue ground next to the edge. Diameter - 26 cm, height - 5,2 cm. Weight - 666 g. Condition: very good condition for the age. No cracks, no hairlines, no chips, no restorations. Firing faults typical for Swatow ware from period, mostly on the bottom. Glaze not glossy.
