A black lacquer and gilt chinoiserie decorated cabinet in George III style, first quarter 20th century, decorated overall with trellis reserves and floral sprigs, the chinoiserie incorporating birds and pagodas, the raised pediment section incorporating pierced fretwork bordered by carved acanthus, the moulded cornice incorporating stylised dentil and gilt composition elements, above three astragal glazed cabinet doors, opening to an arrangement of shelves, the stand with a chinoiserie decorated frieze above square section legs surmounted by pierced corner brackets and on plinth feet, 265cm high (including raised pediment), 189cm wide, 40cm deep, 216cm high excluding the raised pediment
