with deep rounded sides rising to a broad flaring rim, painted around the exterior in varying tones of rich cobalt-blue with figures beside a pavilion, all below a diaper band at the rim, the interior with a medallion enclosing boys at play and encircled at the rim by a trellis-diaper band
