the deep rounded sides rising from a short foot to a broad flaring rim, painted around the exterior in rich cobalt-blue tones with figures beside a pavilion below a diaper band at the rim, the interior with a medallion enclosing boys at play and encircled at the rim by a trellis-diaper band
