Horn, gold (?) mount. Damaged.
The miniature could not be deframed for reasons of conservation.Condition: minor chips to horn. Inside of the lid and the bottom of the box inside are covered with brown velvet. Adhesive remnants of a label on the underside of the bottom. Paint layer of the miniature slightly rubbed. Minor scratches on the glass.

Horn, Gold(?)montierung. Rund. Im Deckel eingelassene Miniatur "Hirte mit Kühen und Schafen in Landschaft". Besch.
Die Miniatur konnte aus konservatorischen Gründen nicht ausgerahmt werden. Zustand: Kleine Ausbrüche im Horn. Innenseite des Deckels und Inneres des Bodens der Dose mit braunem Samt beklebt. Auf der Unterseite des Bodens Kleberreste eines Etiketts. Farbschicht der Miniatur leicht berieben. Leichte Kratzspuren im Glas.
