Henning Koppel (1918-1981) studied sculpture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. In 1945, he secured a contract at Georg Jensen and remained there for the entirety of his career. His works are highly sculptural and devoid of embellishment – the forms themselves are the decoration.
