A carved beech and parcel painted rocking horse, 19th century, modeled as a racehorse with legs outstretched, on a cammed rocker base, numbered 060 to the underside of the neck and one of the supports, 55cm high, 115cm long, 30cm wide Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, Signs of old woodworm,The action with the reigns and through the rockers is untested at Dreweatts, the springs appear to have pulled and there are old repairs to the rope The seat with wear and flaking to the painted surface, other painted areas with sings of wear too, Please see additional images for the serial number to some elements, Dreweatts cannot guartantee the load bearing qualities and sell this only as a decorative work of art and not as a child's toy.
