A cased Victorian gold diamond set locket, chain and brooch suite, by Bracher and Sydenham, Reading,
a flat section oval hinged locket with an applied trefoil leaf to the centre, grain set with graduated cushion cut and old European cut diamonds, with rose cut diamond set points, two incised concentric borders to a bloomed ground, locket 58 x 34mm, 29.79g,
suspended on a round section Brazilian snake chain with a concealed box clasp, 31.98g,
together with a matching diamond set oval locket, with lobed panels to the compass points, glazed locket verso, with concealed pin, hook and 'C' catch, brooch 55 x 50mm, 22.14g. Tested as approximately 15ct gold. An hinged fitted case, velvet covered fitted pad with silk-lined lid, 'By appointment to H.R.H. The Prince of Wales'.
