A Victorian silver christening set, comprising of a knife, fork and spoon, each with scroll and foliate design throughout, enclosed in a fitted case. Hallmarked Chawner & Co., London 1848 and 1851. Length of knife 7.75" (19.5 cm).

Condition Report:
- The cutlery displays surface scratches commensurate with general use.
- Heavy polish marks to the embossed details throughout.
- The hallmarks are slightly rubbed but legible.
- No visible personal engravings.
- The fitted case is marked and scratched but the hinges and closing mechanism are in good working order.
