A cased Victorian silver set comprising a small cream jug and sugar bowl, each of plain circular form with gilt-wash interior, together with a small pair of sugar tongs. Hallmarked John, Edward, Walter & John Barnard (Barnard & Sons Ltd), London 1876. In original fitted case. Silver weight 3.82 ozt (118.7 grams). Dimensions: Condition Report: All three pieces appear in good overall condition, displaying some general light surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing. A few minor surface nicks. Very slight dint to edge of cream jug spout with some surface cracks in one small area, indicating a possible repair. Tongs in fairly good alignment when closed. Slight gouge to reverse of one of the bowls. Hallmarks with slight rubbing but all clearly legible. Case appears in good overall condition with some general expected wear.
