A cased set of late Victorian silver shell salts, plus a cased pair of Edwardian silver salts.

A cased set of late Victorian silver salts, each of shell form and raised on three ball feet, with four shell bowl salt spoons, hallmarked Crisford & Norris Ltd., Birmingham 1898, spoons marked sterling only with same maker's mark. Together with a cased pair of Edwardian silver twin-handled salts of oval form, hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1907, missing glass liners, and matched with two later salt spoons, Sheffield 1928. Weight 3.88 ozt (120.7 grams).

Condition Report:
- All pieces displaying general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
- All would benefit from a clean and polish.
- A couple of repairs to ball feet of shell salts. Also repairs to a couple of the handles, one handle split in two and crudely repaired with blobs of glue visible.
- Some rubbing to hallmarks but mostly clear and legible.
- Both boxes in a worn and used condition.
- Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
