rising from a spreading foot to a tall trumpet neck, the bulbous central section decorated with stylised taotie masks and four vertical flanges, all between lotus and archaistic scrolls, the neck and base with a band of lappets and stylised lotus flowers, all reserved on a vibrant turquoise ground
