the oviform vase with short, everted neck and copper-gilt mounts, decorated in various coloured enamels and thicknesses of silver wire, with doves in the branches of a cherry tree (shidare-zakura) in blossom on a deep blue ground, signed in red lacquer Ohyo (made by O[ta] Hyo[zo])
