the spherical jar with copper-gilt mounts and domed cover including foliate finial, decorated in various coloured enamels and thicknesses of gold and silver wire, with four light blue circular panels depicting butterflies among small flowers, bordered by a dispersion of chrysanthemum heads, signed Kyoto Namikawa (workshop of Namikawa Yasuyuki, 1845-1927)
