A coin free table top 15 1/2" disc Polyphon music box, late 19th/early 20th century, the walnut and figured walnut case with baluster turned pillars to the corners, above a flared apron applied with blind fretwork foliate detail, upon bracket feet, the underside of the hinged cover inset with a glazed monochrome print depicting putti playing instruments and making merry, the gilt metal plaque to the interior cast in relief with the text 'Polyphon' and the serial number 81388, cabinet measures 35cm H x 55cm W x 50cm D, along with a collection of 44 discs

Split to the veneer on the underside of the cover along with two screw holes, please see additional images.
Cover also lacking brass lock catch.
No obvious losses or damage to the teeth although there is some tarnishing and would benefit from a clean.
General wear to the case commensurate with age and use, Polyphon works and plays discs however this cannot be taken as a guarantee of working condition.
