A collection of Georgian cut steel jewellery, comprising a pair of Georgian cut steel ear pendants, circa 1800, the pear shaped panels set throughout with cut steel rivets, with a laurel detail to the bases of the drops, to sun burst pediments, with later shepherds hook fittings, 5.9cm long; together with a Georgian cut steel flower head fringe brooch, circa 1800, the pierced flower head set with various cut steel, 10cm long; a Georgian cut steel sun burst brooch, circa 1810, set with vari cut steel, 5.5cm wide; a pierced cut steel chatelaine, circa 1800, with pierced scrolling foliate decoration, with cut steel accents, 14.2cm long
Condition Report:
Earrings- a few of patches of discolouration, one earring is missing a steel rivet from the pediment and the drop, the central pear shaped drops have been rewired into place but still move, later hooks
Flower head brooch- has some rusting and discolouration, particularly to the centre, and discolouration to the top, a couple of the drops have been rewired to the flowerhead
Sun burst brooch- black discolouration and some small patches of rust
Chatelaine- black discolouration, missing parts of the lobster claw clasps
