A collection of Roman glass vessels Circa 1st-4th Century A.D., including a small Roman bowl with collar rim on a pad base, 4.2cm high; a cylindrical beaker with pronounced rib below the rim and above the base, 9.9cm high; a spherical bottle with rolled rim, 7.6cm high; a damaged pale green glass amphora with slightly tapering body and indented base, an applied band of blue glass trail below the rim and two applied blue glass handles, 12.9cm high; two other fragmentary vessels and other vessel fragments (a lot) Provenance: Schroder Collection; Acquired on the 4 August 1935 from J & F Alouf, Baalbeck, Lebanon.
