mid-19th century, Delhi, each on ivory, depicting emperors, labelled to the reverse 'Emperor Shaw Alum Shaw', '2nd Emperor Baler Shaw', '4th Emperor Akbar Shaw', 'Shaw Jehan Emperor of the World', '7th Emperor Auring Zebh', '14th King Nadir Shaw', '6th Emperor (Shawnee) Alum Gheer', '10th Emperor Mohamud Shaw', '5th Emperor Shaw Jehan Gheer', '11th Emperor Armud Shaw' and '8th Emperor Bebadoor Shaw', with handwritten paper labels inscribed 'J Delvecchio carver and gilder, 68 Dame Street, Dublin',

It appears that the inscriptions to the reverse of each portrait are the non-standard derivations of the more commonly accepted names: ‘Emperor Shaw Alum Shaw’ - Emperor Shah Alam Shah; ‘4th Emperor Akbar Shaw’ - Emperor Akbar Shah; ‘Shaw Jehan Emperor of the World’ - Shah Jahan; ‘7th Emperor Auring Zebh’ - Aurangzeb; ‘14th King Nadir Shaw’ - Nader Shah; ‘6th Emperor (Shawnec) Alum Gheer’ - Alamgir; ‘10th Emperor Mohamud Shaw’ - Emperor Muhammad Shah; ‘5th Emperor Shaw Jehan Gheer’ - Shah Jahangir; ‘11th Emperor Armud Shaw’ - Ahmad Shah; ‘8th Emperor Babadoor Shaw’ - Bahador Shah.
