A collection of enamel boxes comprising two Bilston examples, 18th century, the first inscribed 'A Pledge of Love' above a pair of birds, with a mirrored lid, 4.5cm wide, the second enamelled with a heart, complete with a mirrored lid, 4cm wide, seven Halcyon Days enamel boxes, to include two decorated with horses, largest 5.5cm wide, two Kingsley Enamels boxes, both decorated with equestrian scenes, 6cm diameter, and two further examples by Crummles and Ashley, a Limoges porcelain casket, decorated with ladybirds, 5cm wide, a gilt porcelain heart form box, 6cm long, and an Old Tupton Ware circular box and cover, 5.8cm diameter, together with a small quantity of silver items, comprising a pierced silver twin-handled bowl, by Mappin & Webb, 11.5cm wide, a guilloche enamelled circular box and cover, 3cm diameter, two Eastern miniature cups, 5.7cm wide, a heart shaped box, 4cm long, a similar example, with chased decoration, two small boxes, one enamelled with a horse, and a cast silver model of a dog, British, marks indecipherable, 4.5cm long, total 6.7ozt, and three glass paperweights, to include a Strathearn example, largest 7.3cm diameter (qty.) Condition Report: Bilston boxes) Both chipped, with cracked mirrors. Halcyon) 1988 example has the lid loose but present. 'With much love' example, with a chip to the lower edge of the body. Gilt porcelain heart box) With chips and losses to the gilded finish. Silver) Enamel with some surface scratches otherwise good order. Cup heavily dented and worn. General knocks and rubbing. Paperweights) Smallest with bruises and scratches. Others with surface scratches.
