A companion pair of carved giltwood and upholstered wing armchairs, in William and Mary style, 19th century, of slightly varying proportion, each shaped rectangular back above scroll arms, the loose cushion seat above moulded square sections legs surmounted by pierced foliate carved terminals, joined by scroll carved x-shaped stretchers, on carved and moulded block feet at the front, each approximately 116cm high, 70cm wide, 82cm deep
