Pigment on paper in the style of Kangra painting; featuring Krishna in his yellow robes lying on a bed nestled into a parapet, Radha in red being led to him by her sahelis, all set in a private courtyard with trees visible beyond the palace walls

Provenance: The Collection of Walter and Nesta Spink, Ann Arbor, MI, by 1988
Condition Report: Superficial abrasions with attendant scattered paint loss, primarily visible in areas of white pigment. Some craquelure in the paint, with stratigraphy also visible. Staining in discrete areas, including the center right above the bed, and the upper left corner. Pea-sized paper losses in the extreme left edge, at center, and the lower left corner. The sheet is hinged to the back mat with two pieces of hinging tape from the verso of the upper edge.Framed under glass: 18.25" H x 14.25" W x 1" D Condition reports are offered as a courtesy and are typically published in Moran's catalogue or can be made available upon request. The absence of a condition report does not imply that an item is free from defects or restoration, nor does a reference to particular defects imply the absence of others.
