A cultured pearl and diamond brooch. The vari-size cultured pearl line, with pave-set diamond and pierced panel sides and surround. Estimated total diamond weight 2 to 2.50cts. Length 6.2cms. Weight 16.8gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
One area of mount gallery with bar deficient.
Diamonds well matched.
Diamonds bright.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source.
Cultured pearls are a greyish blue to creamy white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.
Cultured pearls untested for colour origin.
Cultured pearls in good condition with minor abrasion and pitting.
Cultured pearls measure approximately 6.2 to 9mms.
