A cultured pearl necklace, with a diamond clasp.

Comprising five strands of cultured pearls, measuring approximately 7.6mm, with an early 20th century open work old-cut diamond panel highlight, principle diamond weight approx. 0.50ct total diamond weight approx 1.25 - 1.50ct, length 31cm (a/f).
Condition Report: Gross weight approx. 114g. Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Some diamonds drawing slightly more colour tint than others. Diamonds bright and lively. One diamond deficient. Some diamond chipped, visible under 10x loupe. Diamond panel was once a clasp, remodelled. Cultured pearls are a creamy colour, with rose overtones, with good lustre. Cultured pearls are in good condition with minor surface abrasions and some pitting. Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source. Clasp functioning correctly.
