A curved chest of drawers with a crossbow-shaped front made of carved and molded ash wood. The front features three rows, each accented with molding, containing four drawers—two of which are in the first row. The scalloped lower rail is adorned with a pompon, rocaille, and volutes. The curved sides form three panels surrounded by moldings. The curved side panels, embellished with recessed panels on the front ones, rest on small, arched feet topped with scrollwork. Polished bronze hardware: lock plates and drop handles on rosettes. France. Dauphiné craftsmanship. 18th century
