[ translate ]

A diamond floral hinged bangle. The vari-cut diamond cluster, with pave-set rose-cut diamond petal surround, atop the early 20th century 15ct gold plain bangle. Inner diameter 5.8cms. Total weight 14gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
Floral cluster appears to be later addition.
Engraving to inside of bangle appears to read 'C. M. M. 1912'.
One replacement brilliant-cut diamond to the central cluster. Some single-cut diamonds to the petals.
Diamonds fairly well matched.
Diamonds fairly bright.

Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Diamonds with small to moderate scattered inclusions. Some appear to have surface features and small chips.
Stamped 15ct.
Floral cluster electronically tests as approximately 9ct gold.
Diameter of cluster 2.3cms.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
Fellows does not guarantee the standard of gold or platinum unless an item is hallmarked. Results from electronically tested items should only be used as a guide and with caution, as false readings are possible.
Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
