A diamond, sapphire, ruby, pearl and cultured pearl brooch.

A diamond and gem-set brooch. The vari-cut diamond, ruby, sapphire and cultured pearl flower, within an old-cut diamond crescent, suspending a rose-cut diamond accent pearl drop. Total sapphire weight 0.70ct. Total ruby weight 0.60ct. Estimated total diamond weight 2.50cts, I-K colour, SI-P1 clarity. Length 4cms. Weight 9gms. Pearl untested. Purchasing information Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Possibly adapted from a larger/ different items of jewellery. Some diamonds have surface reaching inclusions.

Light and dark inclusions can be seen scattered through some of the diamonds.

Sapphire has a medium blue hue with good clarity.

Rubies are a pinkish, to medium red hue, one has a surface reaching fracture running through the stone.

Colour and clarity grades may differ due to setting restrictions.

Principal pearl untested for natural origin. Stones in good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
