A façon de Venise serpent-stemmed winged wine glass, 17th century
With a conical bowl resting on a collar, the symmetrical stem formed from a slender rope of glass containing spiral threads in opaque white, the sides with trailed and pincered 'wings' in aquamarine, over a short plain section with a basal knop, over a wide conical foot, 18.1cm high
