A fantastic Egyptian-Romano head of a woman

A fantastic Egyptian-Romano head of a woman, 3rd Century AD, with beautifully modeled features, her hair styled in vertical ridges with a plait drawn up the back of the head. 2 3/4 x 2 1/8 in (7 x 5.4 cm). Well-preserved with light deposits and remnants of gesso. Nice wood block base. Ex Brentwood, CA private collection.
