A fantastic Roman lead votive mirror, c. 2nd - 4th Century AD, decorated with bands of angled lines and rays, the center still retaining the original piece of glass. An extremely well-preserved example with a lovely steel grey patina. L: 4 1/2 in (11.3 cm). Ex UK private collection acquired in the 1990's; Gerhard Hirsch, Munich, Germany.
