A fine 19th century silver-mounted baluster-shaped cut-glass claret jug; the thumbpiece as bushels of wheat above the neck with two oval vacant cartouches surrounded by further ears of wheat/corn, hobnail-cut body and slightly spreading circular foot engraved with star-cut base, maker's mark of HW & Co., Birmingham assay marks (rubbed), possibly 1888 (29cm high (including thumbpiece))
