In full crushed brown levant morocco by Michel Ritter, gilt rules and ornaments, red leather onlays, red leather spine label, top edge gilt, gilt dentelles and marbled endpapers, silk ribbon. 6 3/8 x 3 5/8 inches (16.25 x 9 cm); xvii, [3], 116, [6] pp., half title, etched frontispiece by Guillaumot fils, with an additional frontispiece printed on silk. Light wear to spine and edges, with a small spot of rubbing at the head of the joints, both of which are starting, front hinge cracked but sound, contents clean and bright, bookplate of Cortland F. Bishop.
