A fine Mughal diamond-set enamelled gold necklace, India, 19th century, the choker band formed of a series of six-petalled flowers set with diamonds and a central emerald with further diamond-set petals above and below, from this are suspended three diamond-set crescent shapes alternating with double flower bud elements, with seed pearl and emerald bead elements suspended below on gold wire, with gold attachment chain, the reverse enamelled in blue, green and red with stars containing flowers, 19cm. long (without chain) 143 grams
