The marble tops above a panelled door fitted with a spring released opening mechanism, the doors centred by painted porcelain Sèvres style oval plaques of paintings after the originals by Francois Boucher, 'the Interrupted Sleep' (now at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York) and the second plaque, after Jean Honore Fragonard, 'The See-saw' (now at the museo Thyssen Bornemisza in Madrid) signed and dated Henry Dasson 1882,
