A fine red Chinese bowl, Qing Dynasty, 17th - 18th century Thin-walled red bowl on a low, slightly projecting foot ring. Transparent, slightly iridescent glaze with fine crackle. On the outer rim under the glaze in places remains of thin white lining of the lip. Minor firing defects on the inside glaze. On the outside a few light spots from the potters fingerprints under the glaze. Minimal chip on the foot ring. Otherwise intact. Height 5 cm. Diameter 12 cm.
