opening with three doors decorated with a flowers in a medallion, with two lateral panels sycamore maple, grey granit marble top. Inside, a label with a partially mention "... bas / ... à droite à côté / de la porte du cabinet".

Rare meuble d'appui en placage d'ébène, plomb et bronze doré de la fin du XVIIIème siècle, incorporant trois panneaux en érable-sycomore peints à l'huile d'époque Louis XVI, probablement par Le Riche (actif entre 1780 et 1827) ou Jean-Louis Prévot

la façade en placage d'ébène ouvrant à trois vantaux, le panneau central en médaillon à décor peint d'un bouquet de fleurs dans un vase, flanqué de deux vantaux à décor similaire d'un bouquet de fleurs dans une aiguière ; ornementation de plomb et bronze doré ; les côtés présentant des panneaux en érable-sycomore non peints ; dessus de granit gris ; chaque panneau peint doublé au revers d'un placage de chêne présente une étiquette avec des inscriptions à l'encre partiellement lisibles: ... bas / ... à droite à côté / de la porte du cabinet.

Condition Report:
Attractive piece in overall fine condition.
The marble in fine condition. The out-border of top in giltbronze with stains and dust.
The cabinet itself in fine condition, the veneer quite dirty in places, minor and expected cracks and wear. The 2 panels from the sides and the 3 painted panels of the front most probably a later addition from another cabinet. Probably late , early 1790’s. Traces of old label to the reverse of each panels (veneered with oak). The painting with marks and scratches to the surface. All the mounts of the cabinet except marble top border are made of gilt-lead. Pretty quality of these mounts with expected wear. Minor mounts damages on the 4 mounts around the large circular panels. The later vertical brass border on the front door is lifting.
