A gilt silver signed dress ornament composed of seven Dagdan Pendants - Turkestan - 1870-1920
Composed of 7 hollow Ghurbaqa Dagdan pendants, non-identical but all in a similar design. Each pendant is inset with stones in various colours and decorated with strands composed of an elongated gilt pendant inset with stones and followed by a teardrop-shaped pendant or a ball-shaped bell pendant. The pendants are connected to each other with metal chains and arranged in 3 rows, the first 2 with 3 pendants and the 3rd row with a single pendant. 2 smaller plaques in architectural design, each decorated with cutouts and inset with an oval orange stone, serve as hangers for the ornament. Additional strands ending with dome-shaped elements decorated with strands ending with tear-shaped pendants or ball-shaped bell pendants are connected to the pendants along the lower and side borders with two in the centre.
