A giltwood triple plate wall mirror in George III style, circa 1900, with eagle surmount, 82cm high, 132cm wideCondition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. The Ho-ho bird to the centre of the cresting is detached but present (mirror is illustrated without this element of carving). The neck of the bird also has an old repaired crack through it. Old splits and chips to frame. Some rubbing and losses to gilt surface. Gilding appears to have been re-freshed at some point. Some later tape and paper applied to the back of the mirror.
